The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine did not continue the conflict with the director of the Defense Procurement Agency Marina Bezrukova and appointed Arsen Zhumadilov, the head of the State Rear Operator, in her place.

This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustom Umerov.

“Unfortunately, over the past six months, instead of timely provision of ammunition to the army, we have received political games, “showers” of contracts, a “drain” of information (law enforcement officers will still have to check these facts), PR inaction and non-implementation of the CRI by the subordinate enterprise of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Purchases of weapons, which should be closed during martial law and a full-scale war with Russia, for some reason turned into “Amazon”, where every Internet user can see in real time who and what buys, in what volumes and from which manufacturers. And the scale of these purchases, which would be at least commensurate with the PR in the media, was never felt by our defenders at the front.

Therefore, I have made the decision to suspend all those who failed this work:

1. I submit to the Cabinet of Ministers a petition for the dismissal of my deputy — Dmitry Klimenkov.

2. The contract with Marina Bezrukova is not extended by the Ministry of Defense.

Also, the Ministry of Defense recalls two representatives of the state from the Supervisory Board. This will be a precedent in the history of state corporate governance, when two independent representatives of the Supervisory Board supported the position of the state, and the state-authorized representative of the interests of the state ignored the recommendations of the governing body.

The Supervisory Board will be restarted in the near future.

Arsen Zhumadilov will be appointed director of AOZ. This year, AOZ and DOT had the same conditions. One agency did the work, the other only created media noise.
