(Intro by Tom Cooper)
Hello everybody!
Yup, it’s (almost) the end of what appears to me as an ‘excessively long month’. For me, this March began ‘ages ago’: fighting the jet-lag early on some Sunday morning while appearing on news-shows of the CNN News 18 in New Delhi, trying to disseminate what are US-Israel trying to achieve by bombing Iran - and then explaining this to the viewers…
But, ‘ah yes’ - there’s ‘that’ with Ukraine. Where the war was heating up as the Russians began massively increasing their nocturnal onslaughts by attack-UAVs, while Ukrainians were counterattacking in southern Zaporizhzhya… and that in addition to the Pakistanis massacring hundreds by their air strikes on Afghanistan…
In between of all of that, plus trying to do my ‘regular job’, I’ve spent this month reading Anastasiia’s regular reports about latest acquisitions and deliveries for the ZSU - all thanks to your kind and continuous support of our collection Rickshaws for the ZSU (yes, this is still going on) - and Ben’s updates… where I have to apologise for not posting any of these: simply ran out of time to do so.
Of course, some of you are going to wonder: why turning my attention ‘entirely’ on developments in the Middle East/Western Asia?
Because - and regardless if you like it or not, dear Ukrainians and Ukraine-fans, but also all the Russians reading this - that’s where the war in Ukraine is going to be decided, too.
How comes?
Actually, it’s simple. Thanks to Netanyahu & Co, IQ47 & Co are sapping what’s left of the US military power and influence to savage Iran in a vain hope of regime change/destruction of nuclear program/missile program - none of which is/are ever going to happen. Already now, this is ‘forcing’ the Pentagon to steal/misappropriate hundreds of millions paid by the EU/NATO to buy US-made weapons for Ukraine. The Pentaon is using that money for its own purposes. Means: the next 8-10 months (at least) Ukraine is going to get from the USA/EU/NATO even less than it was receiving the last 8-10 months.
Another reason is that, mere 11 years since Pudding’s invasion on Ukraine, and just 4 years since Pudding’s all-out invasion on Ukraine, Europe is, more or less, still in a state of shock & awe. It’s not just that our zombie idiots have still not figured out how to counter Russia. They were stupid enough to enter contractual obligations with Pentagon, preventing them from publicly complaining about the Pentagon wasting our taxpayer’s money for a (vain and belated) attempt to refill stocks of its SAMs and PGMs, too.
And just when one thinks that’s all, folks: nope, it isn’t! Nobody here even dares wondering if the Israelis might ever become capable of delivering all the Arrow IIIs bought for the Sky Shield initiative - considering they’ve already spent all of those manufactured so far.
Fact is, sorry: Europe has no time for that. Many of the same zombie idiots are still preoccupied supporting Israel’s genocide (Gaza Strip) and ethnic cleansing (West Bank) of Palestinians in the name of ‘common values’ - like ‘pluralism & Christianity’, eh?
If not busy with such affairs, they’re busy bowing deeper when IQ47 then threatens to impose higher tariffs should they not do as he likes: so deep, except for the Spanish PM, everybody is so busy licking the ground under his boots that none is coming to the idea to grab that super-idiot by his rotten guts and at least ban the use of bases and airspace for operations of USAF B-1 and B-52 bombers that are striking Iran. Or, to complain about Israelis selling cyberwarfare software to Morocco so this can espionage French and Spanish journalists, trying to play the elections in Slovenia, or Netanyahu (& son) wholeheartedly supporting Orban in Hungary.
Perhaps IQ47 is right, at least once - and they’re all (quote) stupid?
Nah, I’m wrong. I must be wrong. After all, somebody has to (quote from German chancellor Merz), ‘do the dirty job for us’, right?
Indeed, the ‘defence from Iranian threat’ is such an urgent Staatsräson, that European-NATO-members also have to ‘defend freedom’ of most important GCC’s dictators - and that at the time just the one in Qatar arrested at least some 70 (‘Western’) expats, and the one in Bahrain is having oppositionals bestially tortured to death (in turn causing public unrest). …which reminds me that, early through the US-Israel aggression on Iran, have found myself trying to answer dozens of questions about the reasons for Netanyahu’s ‘Zion 1’ (the airliner reconfigured to carry the Israeli prime minister around the world) spending hours, and then days, parked at one of airports in Berlin…
It’s certainly not like Merz couldn’t simply arrest Babe because of the ICJ’s warrant for that character being charged with crimes against humanity?
Another European country excelling in defending liberty around the Middle East - at least along highly professional assessments of its own military Experten - is Greece. The same country that was hornily accepting Iranian crude-deliveries at incredibly favourable conditions during its bankruptcy in the aftermath of the financial crisis of 2008, and either couldn’t care less when Pudding launched its invasion of Ukraine, or was even supporting the same. You see, the Greek PAC-2 battery deployed in Saudi Arabia has wasted XY missiles to shot down two Shaheds, while super-turbo Greek warships - which the country had to buy, regardless how bankrupt - are ‘ruling the sea’ of the Eastern Mediterranean - to protect RAF Akrotiri on Cyprus….
That, my dear 0.6 readers in Ukraine, is the state of idiocracies upon which you’re depending for ‘help’ in the war of extermination imposed upon you by Netanyahu’s and IQ47’s buddy in Moscow.
But, don’t worry. Your own pres, Zele, is also excelling. The last few days he was wasting his time by touring the GCC-states. With trying to impress all the possible dictators of the Gulf Cooperative Council - probably because it’s so well-known that beggars are regularly leaving lasting impressions on bunches of deeply corrupt and spoiled brats. Well, at least that with corruption is going to be a common point during the resulting talks… I only cannot but wonder if Zele might ever find an excuse for all of his corrupt apparatchiks finding refugee in Israel, instead in the UAE or Qatar…
Which reminds me about something I have to inform you about, my dearest readers. Sorry for some shameless self-advertising now, but: couldn’t but develop a fantastic, exclusive, and unique business idea. At least the Ukrainian advisors meanwhile deployed in the area cannot but stop wondering: nah, not about the stuff flying all over the place. Nor about super-stupid military commanders. They know these two parts all too well.
They’re wondering about how dogmatically-, yet typically US-style were all the US, Bahraini, Qatari, Saudi, and Emirati Patriot-operators trained by their US instructors.
…must be ‘stupid Arabs can’t fight modern wars’, of course…
With other words: back to the battlefields of the War in Ukraine, and over to Don…
Sumy
Less than 10 km northeast of Tyotkino, a Russian jet pops up to fire at a Ukrainian jet. The Ukrainian jet avoided the missile.
A Ukrainian drone is shot down over Kursk, 110 km from the border.
Vovchansk
Russian vehicles parked 15 km north of the border are attacked.
Russia started moving south of the river back in July, but the sector is stable now because of drones hunting soldiers and Russian logistical vehicles. Russia started using ground drones to deliver supplies like Ukraine did but Ukraine has been destroying them in Belgorod and hampering Russian attacks.
A Geran drone flies into a building in Kharkiv.
Kuipiansk
The 425th Assault Regiment has troops in Kupiansk, Minkivka (near Sloviansk), Pokrovsk and Ternove (north of Huliaipole). The largest portion of their troops is probably Pokrovsk. In Kupiansk, they continue to sweep through the city. There was a Ukrainian drone attack to the west of the city center.
There weren’t any posted videos of deep infiltration by Russian troops, although they did advance on Pishchane and Ukraine’s 43rd Brigade engaged them in the gray zone and further behind Russian lines.

Lyman
Russian troops and equipment in the forest and Yampil are hunted by drones.
Ukrainians are shelled south of Yampil and pursued by drones. Ukraine seems to be more active near that village. Very little territory changed hands.
Sloviansk
The 425th Assault Regiment appears to have halted the Russian advance from Minkivka. The lines north of Minkivka are still not stable. It is 11th Corps’ only responsibility and the only stable sector is east of Kryva Luka, which is defended by the 81st Airmobile Brigade, which hit Russian vehicles in Siversk. The 10th Mountain Brigade is a very large brigade and is responsible for more defensive frontage. West of Kalenyky, the Russians clear a bunker.
The dam in Raihorodok was blown up by the Russians when they retreated from Lyman in 2022. Ukraine rebuilt it because it supplied water to Donetsk and other cities. It also provided a crossing between Sloviansk and Lyman. Russia destroyed it again with a drone last week.

Kostiantynivka
Russians use laser-guided artillery shells on buildings in the city. Rubicon attacks multiple Ukrainian targets. Illinivka is hit by rockets.
Ukrainian soldiers throw a T-62 AT mine into a building 3 km into the city where Russians were.
Russian forces are 2 km from the town and some of the heaviest fighting is around Illinivka and Berestok.

Ukraine used to have the advantage with drones in this sector but Russia ramped up their efforts and they have the edge. To counter this, Ukrainian infantry patrol the roads into the city and engage the drones with rifles. Consistent with the history of other cities, there are some civilians that refuse to evacuate despite the bombs, shelling, drones and advancing Russian army. At the beginning of March, there were 2,000 remaining out of its original population of 80,000. Because of the drones, it’s almost impossible for any organization to evacuate them now. Humanitarian aid for the civilians is also cut off. The 28th Brigade evacuated one civilian under difficult circumstances a month ago.
A Russian drone operator upset with the army contacted Ukraine through the “I Want to Live” program. When he said he wanted to help Ukraine destroy the Russian army he was directed to Dmytro “Apostol” Karpenko, who runs a program that collects leaked information on Russian positions, equipment and movements. For 80 days he provided information that killed 150 and wounded 50, including four drone crews and four mortar crews. Two tanks and an MLRS were also destroyed. At the same time, the Russian defector flew drones for 1200 hours in the Sofiivka-Volodymyrivka area. After several failed attempts, he crossed 20 km through the gray zone before being evacuated by Ukrainian forces. He plans to fight in the Russian Volunteer Corps.
