Occupiers dragged Crimean political prisoner Erfan Osmanov to Russian Tyva

Erfan Osmanov, a Crimean political prisoner sentenced to 13 years in prison in the case of the “second Simferopol group”, Hizb ut-Tahrir, was transferred to correctional colony No. 1 in the city of Kyzyl in the Republic of Tyva.

About this “Crimean Solidarity”reported the brother of Erfan Osmanov, Ernest Osmanov.

On November 24, 2024, the Crimean Tatar Erfan Osmanov was sent in stages from the prison of Verkhneuralsk, Chelyabinsk region, to the correctional colony in Kyzyl. According to the relative, “the stage was not easy”: political prisoners visited many detention centers by road and covered a distance of about 3 thousand kilometers. Erfan was delivered to the colony on December 20, 2024.

“Erfan wrote a letter. He said that he would be quarantined for two weeks, then he would be transferred to the detachment. He sends greetings to all loved ones and thanks everyone for their support,” said Ernest Osmanov.

Erfan Osmanov is a musician, father of many children.
