Olga Kuryshko appointed Permanent Representative of the President in Crimea

President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Olga Kuryshko to the position of Permanent Representative of the President in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

This is stated in the Decree of the Head of State No. 59/2025 dated January 24, UNIAN reports.

“To appoint Olga Kuryshko as Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea,” the decree reads.

Since June 2023, Kuryshko has held the position of Deputy Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea, and since December 2024 she has been Acting Permanent Representative.

Kuryshko joined the Mission team in December 2021 and headed the Legal Support Department of the Mission. She systematically worked on strategic and programmatic documents on reintegration, took an active part in the development of regulations to protect the right of residents of the temporarily occupied peninsula in the field of access to education, pension provision, obtaining passport documents, support of political prisoners and members of their families.

It is also known that in the past Kuryshko was the Chief State Auditor-Inspector of the Department of Organization of Units and Representation of Interests of the SFS and its territorial bodies of the Department of Legal Work of the Main Department of the SFS in Poltava Oblast.

As is known, on December 4, 2024, the president dismissed Tamila Tasheva from the position of permanent representative.
