This is a part of the vessel that ran aground in the Taman district of the Temryuk district.

There they said that oil products began to leak from the ship. It is not yet known what the extent of the damage is. As noted, specialists of the Maritime Rescue Service of the Russian Federation are taking measures to locate the spill.

The area of the fuel oil stain from the feed “Volgoneft-239" is about 2.8 thousand square meters.

Russian head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov said that the situation with fuel oil emissions in Crimea, according to forecasts, may worsen. There is a high risk of increasing the scale of pollution to a level comparable to that recorded on the coast of the Krasnodar Territory of Russia.

As reported, two Volgoneft tankers with fuel oil crashed in the Kerch Strait on Sunday, December 15, - according to the main version, due to a storm.

As a result of the tanker accident, there was a spill of oil products. According to Russian media, Volgoneft-212 transported 4,300 tons of fuel oil. Shot and Baza claim that about the same amount of oil products were on board the Volgoneft-239.
