Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga reacted to the postponement of the visit to Ukraine of retired General Keith Kellogg, who was nominated by US President-elect Donald Trump to the post of Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia.
As the correspondent transmits UNIANSibiga said this at a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iceland Torgerdur Katrin Gunnarsdóttir in Kyiv.
In particular, as Sibiga noted, firstly, in Ukraine “we are pleased with all the visits of our American friends.”
In addition, secondly, as Sibiga said, Ukraine is very hopeful about the visits of the already appointed leaders and heads of the new administration after the inauguration of Donald Trump.
Thirdly, Ukraine considers the meeting and visit of General Kellogg to be extremely important.
“And I am confident that this meeting will take place in due course, and we are in contact to clearly define the time frame for holding it, to fill this meeting with maximum content,” Sibiga said.
