From January 27 to February 1, the First Winter School “Crimean Studies” will operate at the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”, it is reported on the Facebook page of the educational institution, they write Crimea.Realities.
“Crimean Studies” is a unique interdisciplinary project that combines education, research and preservation of the cultural, social and political heritage of Crimea,” the statement said.
The program includes lectures on the history of Crimea from Tatiana Grigorieva and Martin-Alexander Kislyho, on Crimean Tatar literature and culture from Aisha Arnautova, on the Crimean Tatar language by Afisa Emiramzaeva, as well as on Crimea in the context of international law and the issue of reintegration of Crimea.
To participate in classes, it is necessary to fill out a questionnaire by January 19, answering several questions about education, professional activities, motivation and plans to use the knowledge gained.
Earlier it became known that the University of Alberta in Canada launched a scholarship program in Crimean Tatar studies at the Faculty of National Studies, operating within the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies.
