Another 25 Ukrainians returned from Russian captivity

Ukraine has achieved a separate format for the return of seriously ill and wounded prisoners — another 25 Ukrainians are at home, according to the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

“They were returned to the free land of Ukraine as a result of mutual repatriation. The Coordination Headquarters, on behalf of the President of Ukraine, continues to work on the return of seriously injured, seriously ill, women. There is also an active search and return of civilians, all our prisoners of war.

All repatriated servicemen are soldiers, sailors and sergeants. They defended Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk directions, the city of Mariupol, in particular Azovstal. Among those returned is also a civilian, captured in the Kiev region and illegally detained by the Russians.

Representatives of the National Guard, the Armed Forces (including TRO), the Navy, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine will return home and receive proper treatment and rehabilitation.

We were also able to pick up wounded Ukrainian servicemen from Kurshchyna.

The youngest dismissed person is 24 years old. The oldest is sixty. These people went through a lot without proper medical care and with inhumane treatment in enemy captivity.

Traditionally, we express our gratitude for the assistance in organizing mutual return to the United Arab Emirates,” the KSHPP said in a statement.
