Zelensky threatened to intimidate Polish presidential candidate who does not see Ukraine in NATO

President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the words of Polish presidential candidate Karol Navrotsky, who said that he does not currently see Ukraine's future in the EU and NATO.

He said this in an interview with Polish media during a visit to Warsaw on January 15, reports “European Truth”.

Navrotsky, who is also director of the Polish Institute of National Remembrance, said earlier that without resolving historical issues between Kiev and Warsaw, he does not see Ukraine in the European Union and NATO.

“If Ukraine is not in the EU and is not in NATO, if Ukraine does not have security guarantees, then Mr. Navrotsky should already start training, because it may happen that he, together with his compatriots, will have to take up arms to defend his country,” Zelensky said.

He stressed that in the event of Ukraine's defeat, the risk of war in Poland “will be very high”.

“Russia will immediately find itself on the border with Poland after Ukraine, and then (Navrotsky. - Ed.) will not have a political struggle, but will fight for its life,” the president added.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry earlier rejected Navrotsky's statements about Ukraine's future in the EU and NATO as “tendentious and manipulative”.

Navrotsky himself recently said that he has not changed his mind, but in case of winning the presidential election of Poland, he is ready for dialogue with Ukraine.
