Surrounded by US President Donald Trump, there are people who tell him disinformation and a pro-Russian position on Ukraine. As the correspondent transmits UNIAN, this was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a speech at the World Economic Forum.

According to him, with US President Donald Trump, really good relations have been established.

“But we have such a pragmatic time today, and it is very important for us that the extra voices that sometimes around President Trump convey a disinformation or pro-Russian position... It is very important for us that Europe is loud, that it is heard, that there are more voices around President Trump so that he clearly understands the details and risks that may be in the future, and with this, very quickly,” Zelensky said.

The President of Ukraine explained his opinion:

“Trump told me, and he talked publicly about it later, that he would do everything to end the war this year. I told him we were your partner. This is a war with us. We know all the painful places. We understand how painful it is for us. We lost our people. This is the biggest loss for us. We want to end the war this year. But not just the word “fast”, but just, above all, it is safe for us, for Ukrainians, to return home and live safely, and work. It seems to me that this is the most important thing. At least we will do everything for it.”
